PRIVACY — WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

1. WHO WE ARE

bank.subimpact.net is an independent Malaysian savings-account and credit-card database, operated as a property of subimpact.net. We are not a bank, not an agent, and not a broker. This policy is written with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA, Malaysia) in mind.

2. NO PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

We do not ask for, and have no way to store, your personal data. Specifically:

• No user accounts, logins or profiles.
• No lead-generation forms. We never pass your details to a bank, agent or broker — we have no details to pass.
• No newsletter signup or email capture.
• No NRIC, income, employment, account number or any other identifying financial information is requested anywhere on this site.
• We do not sell, rent or share data, because we do not hold any.

3. CALCULATORS — DATA NEVER LEAVES YOUR DEVICE

The savings calculator, the card calculator and the compare tool run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — balance, salary, card spend, bill payments — are processed by JavaScript on your own device against product data that was embedded in the page at build time. Nothing is transmitted to us, stored on a server, or written to a database. Close the tab and the inputs are gone.

There is no backend that receives calculator inputs. This is a static site: the pages are pre-built and served as files.

4. ANALYTICS & COOKIES

We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics so we know which pages and products people find useful. This collects aggregate, non-identifying usage data — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, and anonymous events such as which navigation links and outbound bank links are clicked. Analytics cookies may be set by these Google services.

We never attach analytics data to a person, and we never send calculator inputs to analytics. If you would rather not be measured at all, browser privacy settings, tracker blockers and content blockers all work normally on this site — nothing here breaks when analytics is blocked.

5. HOSTING & LOGS

The site is served from Cloudflare's edge network. As with any website, the infrastructure that delivers the page processes technical request data (such as IP address and user agent) for delivery, caching and abuse protection. That processing is Cloudflare's, under its own terms; we do not maintain our own request logs containing personal data.

6. LINKS TO BANK WEBSITES

Every account and card page links to the official bank page we used as the source. Once you follow that link you are on the bank's own site, governed by its privacy policy and cookies — not this one. We do not use affiliate or tracking links; see the conflicts register.

7. YOUR PDPA RIGHTS

The PDPA gives you rights of access, correction and withdrawal of consent over personal data held about you. Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is nothing for us to retrieve, correct or delete. If you email us — for example to report a correction — we hold only that email and reply to it, and we use it for nothing else.

8. CHILDREN

This site publishes financial product information for an adult audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone — of any age.
