1. HOW PRODUCTS GET LISTED

Coverage is decided by us, on relevance to Malaysian consumers — not by who asks. We currently track 58 accounts and 58 cards across 48 institutions, including products that compare badly. A bank cannot pay to be added, and it cannot pay to be removed: if a product is notable and its terms are published, it belongs in the database whether the bank likes the comparison or not.

2. HOW PRODUCTS GET RANKED

Order is computed, not curated. Rankings come from the verified data and the calculator rules published on the methodology page, applied to the inputs you give us. Change your inputs and the order changes — because the answer depends on your situation, not on our commercial relationships. There is no "featured", "top pick" or "editor's choice" slot, because such slots are exactly where paid placement hides.

3. HOW THIS SITE IS FUNDED TODAY

At launch: it isn't. bank.subimpact.net earns no revenue — no advertising, no affiliate commission, no data licensing, no sponsorship. It is funded by subimpact.net as an independent research property, and its running costs are hosting and research time.

4. IF THAT EVER CHANGES

A site with no revenue may one day need some. If we monetize, we commit to the following — in this order:

The arrangement is published on this page first, with the date it starts and who it is with — before any money changes hands or any link goes live.
Ranking logic stays untouched. No commercial arrangement will ever reorder results, add a promoted slot, or remove an unflattering product.
Any monetized link is labelled inline, on the surface where it appears — not disclosed only in a footer.
The change is dated in this register's history so you can see what we said before and after.
We still take no money for coverage decisions or for editorial input. Those are not for sale at any price.
